Taking a Stand for
FAITH / FREEDOM / FAMILY
As a resident of St. Charles County for the past 19 years - Carla has grown to truly love St. Charles County and is proud to call Wentzville home for almost 17 years of that time.
Carla is the current owner of Teddy Bear Mobile - St. Charles County, a build-your-own-animal company that specializes in on-site activities for children’s events. In the past, Carla worked for Southwest Airlines over 18 years in multiple positions; with American Family Insurance as a legal correspondent for three years; and most-recently 13 years for Mercy Health, the last 10 years being spent as Mercy's Community Liaison for St. Charles County.
“As a small business owner, mother, grandmother, and conservative activist, I know that our state needs to put families first. A strong society starts with strong families, and that means ensuring Missouri families have the tools they need to be healthy and thrive.”
In addition to being a small business owner, Carla is heavily involved in conservative politics and community betterment. She is a proud member of the Federated Republican Women of St. Charles County, the Missouri Center Right Coalition, and the National Rifle Association. Meanwhile, she is on the Board of Directors for the O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce and Industries, the Child Advocacy Center of Northeast Missouri, and the Cottleville Firefighter's Outreach. Carla is a long term member of the VISION St. Charles County Leadership and Protege Mentorship Programs, Western St. Charles County Chamber, the Cottleville/Weldon Springs Chamber of Commerce, O'Fallon Business Builders BNI group, Little Black Book Women in Business and No9 Networking group.
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
As your legislator, I want to focus on politics belonging to the people. Decisions that impact every Missourian's life, family, education, career and well being - physically, mentally and spiritually - should belong to the people they impact the most.
I want to help ensure that Missourian's are being seen and heard, that your needs as citizens get considered when major decisions are being made on your behalf and work to make sure these decisions are not creating unnecessary burdens for families and unnecessary regulations for businesses.
As your legislator, I want to spend the needed time connecting with you to truly tap into your concerns, needs, desires and hopes for your communities. Our tax dollars need to be spent in ways that help ensure we are being good stewards of what the citizens entrust us with, for their very best, and that means we need to hear from you on what that looks like.
Missourians deserve the best - they deserve to have their voices listened to first and truly heard! I hope that you will allow me the honor of hearing you!
